SURGICAL TOOLS
FLO-THRU (Intraluminal Shunt)
Providing optimal flow during the construction of a precise anastomosis, FLO-THRU, is indicated for use in bypass surgery, beating heart surgery, peroneal bypass, and peripheral vascular procedures.
Clinical Benefits
- Multiple sizes ensure an ideal fit for a blood-free field, improving visualization at the site of the anastomosis1
- Unique single-piece design with large internal diameters provides exceptional distal perfusion1
- Radiopaque marker outlines outer diameter of bulbs, facilitating easy positioning and removal of shunt1
FLO-RESTER (Internal Vessel Occluder)
FLO-RESTER is designed to be a safe, simple atraumatic way to control bleeding during bypass surgery and vessel repair, and specifically in femoral-popliteal bypass, tibial bypass, peroneal bypass, dorsal-pedal bypass surgeries.
Clinical Benefits
- Provides a bloodless field for excellent visualization at the sight of the anastomosis2
- Effectively stents the vessel for efficient needle placement and enhanced suturing3
- Eliminates external pressure on the vessel (e.g.: clamps and vessel loops), preventing intimal damage to the vessel2
VASCULAR PROBE
A unique “Two probes in one”, the VASCULAR PROBE is designed for use during coronary and peripheral vascular surgery. Use the VASCULAR PROBE in femoral-popliteal bypass, tibial bypass, peroneal bypass, and dorsal-pedal bypass procedures to probe blood vessels distally and proximally for blockages, to measure the internal diameter of vessels, and to act as an intravascular retractor.
Clinical Benefits
- Streamlined “olive” shaped bulbs support atraumatic vessel stenting, retraction and occlusion4
- Flexible shaft allows the vessel to be tracked without damaging intima4
- Easy passage through the vessel lumen4
IMPORTANT RISK INFORMATION FOR SURGICAL TOOLS
Flo-Thru Intraluminal Shunt Indications for Use
The Flo-Thru Intraluminal Shunt is indicated for use in coronary artery or peripheral vascular procedures. The device shunts blood at the anastomotic site which provides a temporary blood free operative field for suturing while allowing blood to flow distal to the anastomosis. The device is removed just prior to the final suturing of the vessel.
Contraindications & Adverse Reactions
Not Applicable
Warnings:
Do not re-sterilize. The shunt is a single use device and is not intended for reuse.
Rx only. For safe and proper use of this device, refer to the Instructions for Use.

Flo-Rester Disposable Internal Vessel Occluder Indications for Use
Flo-Resters are used to internally occlude blood vessels during anastomosis. The occluder bulbs are inserted proximally and distally through the vessel opening. The occluder bulbs allow a dry field to be maintained during the anastomosis of a bypassed graft or the suturing of two cut ends of a vessel. A pull tab allows the Flo-Rester to be easily removed prior to the final sutures being tied. Select the Flo-Rester size which is appropriate for the internal diameter of the blood vessel.
Contraindications & Adverse Reactions
Not Applicable
Warnings:
Do not resterilize. Flo-Rester is a disposable, single-use device.
Rx only. For safe and proper use of this device, refer to the Instructions for Use.

Vascular Probe/Vascular Probe ES (Extra Supple) Indications for Use
The disposable Vascular Probe is intended to be used during coronary and peripheral vascular surgery to probe blood vessels distally and proximally for blockages, to measure the internal diameter of vessels, and to act as an intravascular retractor.
Contraindications & Adverse Reactions
Not Applicable
Warnings:
Do not resterilize. The Vascular Probe is a disposable, single-use device.
Do not subject the Vascular Probe to the following agents: alcohol esters and ethers, any derivatives of phenols, compounds of mercury, chloride, peroxide, acetone, or any type of solvent.
Do not use mechanical gripping or clamping devices to manipulate the probe.
Rx only. For safe and proper use of this device, refer to the Instructions for Use.
